Whenever any group of people convenes to generate new ideas pretty much the first thing the person moderating the session will say is that “There’s no such thing as a bad idea”.
The purpose of this statement is to settle the participants and reassure them that, in the white-heat of generating ideas, none of their contributions will be seen as silly, irrelevant or downright useless. But is it true that there’s no such thing as a bad idea?
I need to buy luggage and I’m in a hurry. I don’t have a great deal of time to do research and I’m not familiar with the common brands. What do I do?

The election results are now in and unfortunately I’ve missed out on the Vice President role. Thanks to everyone who voted and showed their support for me and the other candidates! It was a fun campaign.
After successfully conquering the mobile space, touch interfaces are invading the desktop.
Since the release of Apple’s new Magic Trackpad, there has been a lot of speculation on whether this kind of device is a serious contender to the glorious mouse as the preferred pointing interface on desktop computers.
Rapid iterative testing and evaluation or RITE is a technique that has been around in one form or another for some time. Calling it RITE is a relatively new thing and a formalised methodology now exists as trialled by Microsoft.
Foolproof have been using it agressively on a number of projects recently and quite frankly, it’s awesome.
