Case study: Kaplan Financial

Kaplan Financial case study

We’ve worked with Kaplan Financial since 2008 as their customer experience partner.

Kaplan Financial is a UK leader in financial and business training and adopted a user-centred design (UCD) approach to the redesign of their website to improve its commercial performance as a research and sales tool for course selection, and to increase visitor-to-purchase conversion.

What we did

Foolproof’s role was to ensure that real customers and best-practice user experience remained central throughout the re-development of the website:

  • Provided an understanding of shoppers’ requirements for a smooth and persuasive online research and purchase process
  • Ensured the overall content placement, structure and priority supported user objectives and journeys
  • Provided prioritised recommendations for changes in design, content and structure to deliver user experience improvements and increased visitor conversion
  • Developed wireframes and a prototype based on recommendations to allow for validation testing

Kaplan Financial say:

"Foolproof were invaluable as the voice of the customer during our site's development. Their expertise and experience helped us to understand our role within our customer's wider journey. Researching and applying for courses online is a considered and complex process, so understanding what customers want and need from us really enhances our offering whilst reducing commercial risk to our redesign."
