How we use your information
This privacy notice tells you what to expect Foolproof to do with your personal information when you make contact with us or use one of our services. It applies to information we collect about:
- visitors to our websites;
- people who use our services; and
- job applicants and contractors.
Visitors to our website
When someone visits our website, we use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things like the number of visitors our blog attracts or to measure the engagement our contact form receives. Overall, this contributes to improving the user experience we provide.
This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.
If we do want to collect personally identifiable data through our website, we will make this explicit. For example, when offering the ability to actively give consent - via two factor authentication - to be part of our Foolproof newsletter.
As an experience design agency, we value transparency. As such we will make it clear when we collect personal information and will explain what we intend to do with it.
- To allow us to use measurement and analytics tools to find out how people are using the site so that we can monitor and improve the experience we provide
- To deliver a personalised experience based on whether they are visiting for the first time or as a returning visitor
- To provide seamless navigation where we link to, or from, third party sites (like YouTube or Twitter)
We don’t put any information into cookies which is personal to you, or which would allow anyone else to identify you. Cookies are harmless and useful, but if you really don’t want them you can turn them off using the controls in your web browser:
- Firefox: Enabling and disabling Cookies
- Safari: Managing Cookies
