I’ve worked in a number of interesting roles in different sectors including IT, property, advertising and travel. Most recently I worked as an ecommerce manager for a travel company based in Dublin, Ireland.
During this time I noticed a huge industry emphasis on SEO and PPC in the acquisition of customers online with little attention given to the most important area of all; the user experience. This kicked off my passion for UX design strategy which led me to complete a course in Human Computer Interaction.
I feel organisations are waking up to the fact that user experience design is integral to the online success of an organisation that wishes to engage and do business online. I am delighted and fortunate to join the talented team here at Foolproof at such an exciting time.
At Foolproof I work closely with Danny Weston in the client services team in our London office. Our client portfolio extends across a variety of sectors including leading brands in financial services, internet security, mobile, travel and online gaming.
Outside of work I like to spend my time relaxing and socialising with friends, be it going for a pint and a bite to eat or catching a movie at the cinema. I’m happy to play and watch most sports but I think soccer, Gaelic games, and rugby have to be my favourites, which doesn’t leave much room for any others really.
Putting on my geek hat I am a former heavyweight chess champ and so I’m always up for a game. So if you think you can make the grade...step up!
