My background in psychology and marketing has given me both a commercial and a consumer perspective of the online shopping environment. I was delighted when I started working at Foolproof in 2007 as our design philosophy here balances the needs of both users and businesses in a way that I felt was lacking in previous places that I had worked.
During my time at Foolproof I have managed a number of large scale, user-centred design projects; acting as a user champion at every stage of the process. My work at Foolproof gives me an opportunity to indulge my profound curiosity in what makes people tick (and more importantly buy).
I was born in Belgium (to an English father and Czech mother) so learnt to speak French at the same time as English. Being a native French speaker has given me the opportunity to manage and conduct a number of international studies for Foolproof.
My great passion outside of work is travelling. I’m currently planning a trip to Australia and when I return I will start planning how to conquer the only continent I haven’t yet visited – Antarctica.
