I guess the easiest way to explain my working life is as a journey in designing and making things. From my first Meccano and Lego sets and the labs and workshops at technical high school. Through studying computing at Imperial College, designing and building a variety of software products and an MSc from the Centre for HCI Design at City University. To researching and designing user experiences here at Foolproof.
Along the way I've been lucky enough to work on a wide range of products and technologies, including websites, web and mobile apps, design tools and enterprise-scale business systems. And in every role, I've been an advocate for the importance of great design and a user-centred approach to creating products that people will love to use.
Outside of work? Well you might find me throwing some boules with my partner, singing and playing at a folk or blues club, wandering through Tate Modern or the Southbank Centre, riding my Brompton, or trying to hang on to my 12 handicap.
