UX Consultant
Philip Morton

I joined Foolproof last year, having studied Computer Science at the University of Nottingham. While my degree was a technical one, my primary interest is design - how it affects our lives and how we can use it to better understand and interact with the world around us.

I’m also curious about productivity and how we can optimise the way we handle everyday tasks in a society that seems to demand more of us every day. I find it fascinating how our brains interpret the world around us and how we can counteract the inherent flaws in our thinking.

Ten years of web design and development have taught me much of what I know about UX and guided me towards a career in the field. Outside of work, I’m the editor and owner of one of the leading volunteer-run videogame websites, which ensures that I keep up to date with the latest trends.

One of my main passions over the last few years has been travel, with a recent two month trip to Alaska, Canada and then South America. I’m also a qualified scuba diver and hope to return to the warm waters of Australia’s Great Barrier Reef in the next few years.
