In the last ten years working as a UX consultant, I've gotten involved in everything from strategy for global companies to moving around buttons on start-up websites.
During this time I've worked in over a dozen countries for organisations as diverse as American Express, Fedex, Fujitsu, Mars, Microsoft and the Government of Dubai.
I've been fascinated by cross-cultural psychology ever since I wrote my masters thesis on the localisation of user interfaces at UCL in 2001. I also take a perverse enjoyment in grappling with design problems for complex business systems, having previously worked as a systems developer and analyst.
Outside of work I try and stay as far away from technology as humanly possible, indulging my passion for vintage American music and pursuing my dream of being a decent opening batsman.
