Experience Design

For me, joining Foolproof as a user experience consultant is a bit like finding a wardrobe in my parent’s house through which some magical user-centred Narnia unfolds. I’m a Norwich boy and I’m a user experience professional. I often sat on the freelance train between Norwich and London wondering if such a wardrobe might exist.

Earlier careers included a lifetime in a record shop where everything was arranged by first names, before I completed a BSc in Computing and Usability Engineering in Manchester.

Since then I have built up over 10 years' experience in user experience design, web globalisation and client relations, with a focus on analysing key customer journeys, developing visual frameworks and end-to-end flows, to support unique customer experiences.

I’ve recorded 11 albums and I like taking pictures of car parks. I live in Norwich, and I’m married with 3 children. In my spare time I peer out of my home office window, as hyperactive students kick the wing mirror off my Vauxhall Zafira on the way back from Mercy or Optic.
