Research facilities

Foolproof provides access to a range of specialist research facilities and tools which can be employed to meet a wide range of research needs including usability testing, eye-tracking studies, focus groups and workshops:

Focus group rooms

We have comfortable fully equipped facilities for undertaking focus groups in both London and Norwich offices. All of the rooms are set up for audio video recording of the focus group sessions.

Interview rooms

Foolproof provides high specification research labs for one-on-one tests at its offices in Norwich and London. All of the interaction that takes place during testing is captured on video and the interviews can be observed in real-time as required.

Testing software

Morae’s advanced usability testing software allows the capture of qualitative and quantitative data during test sessions. Morae’s testing software goes beyond the capture of screen based behaviour to incorporate key stroke information providing an additional layer of data on usage.

Tobii eye tracking

Tobii’s eye tracking equipment is used by Foolproof in a range of projects to provide gaze trail analysis as users interact with designs and progress through user journeys. The equipment is unobtrusive ensuring respondents are not distracted from the task at hand and that they can shop or interact online as they would normally.

Mobile testing equipment

Mobile testing equipment allows Foolproof to set up research anywhere in the UK or abroad. The mobile testing equipment includes all of the necessary audio visual capture equipment needed and features Morae’s advanced usability testing software.
