It’s no good. This terrible article from the Observer makes me want to share a few views on Facebook and its real significance to the marketing world. Here’s the first of a number of posts I’ll make on the subject.
Social networking has been moving in on the world of recruitment for some time now with employers researching potential employees via their social networking activities such as LinkedIn. So I guess it was only a matter of time before a dedicated recruitment website was developed based on the social networking model.
One of the speakers at Econsultancy’s ‘Future of Digital Marketing’ conference was the charismatic Christophe Langlois. He has a site called Visible Banking which tracks the banking industry’s attempts to use social media to create dialogue with the rest of society.
…but it doesn’t always have to be big. And that’s one of the reasons why Twitter’s registration form is great, it’s so short!
