As Account Director, it is my responsibility to develop the strategic relationships we have with a number of leading global and UK brands across Financial Services, Retail, Entertainment and FMCG. I manage one of Foolproof’s busiest portfolios; which means there’s never a dull day. The work mix varies from helping clients to understand how best to design for and develop new services for the Apple Watch, to generating creative and innovative ideas that fuel a year-long transformation programme.
It’s my job to understand exactly what our clients are trying to achieve and their measures of success. This enables me to match the specialist skills of the Foolproof studio to my clients' needs. I work closely with my Principal Consultant and Project Manager and the talented team in the studio to unpick briefs and come up with creative responses to their challenges.
I am the voice of the client throughout every project; ensuring that the studio are given a thorough briefing on the client including previous work, limitations and opportunities. I'm then part of the project team from kick off to delivery, ensuring that we're exceeding expectations at every touchpoint.
Financial Services is my area of specialism, having worked with many UK and global brands in the last nine years. I’m really interested in how technology has changed consumer behaviour and how financial services organisations have responded to the need to deliver seamless, personalised experiences across all customer touch-points.
Before Foolproof I worked for a digital agency as Account Director; responsible for digital campaigns across a portfolio of clients in financial services, retail, gaming and FMCG. It was here that I became aware of the power of UX and how involving customers in design had such a dramatic effect on sales conversion. Once I'd seen this for myself, I took the leap to Foolproof.
During my time at Foolproof I’ve indulged my passion for travel, taking the opportunity to visit all four corners of the globe; observing how customers from different countries and cultures react to new digital experiences. Outside of work I love socialising with family and friends and mostly enjoy an evening where wine and delicious food is involved. To counter the effects of the aforementioned food and wine I can (not too often) be found in the gym.
