As an Office Assistant, I do little things that binds our office together which helps it run smoothly. I manage various office duties: greet clients and visitors, set up meeting rooms with refreshments, maintain stocks of supplies, assist with organising events, supporting my Office Co-ordinator as well as additional responsibilities that include making sure my peers are taken care of.
I absolutely love working at Foolproof; the working atmosphere enables my creativity to flourish. This is because I am surrounded by enthusiastic and intelligent individuals who offer different perspectives to a normal day. I tackle new challenges head on and look for opportunities to add my personal touch too.
Before working at Foolproof, I worked as a team leader in hospitality. My priority was customer service, I believe excellent customer service is vitally important in all businesses. In my previous role I closely supported my manager which involved looking after a team of 15. This involved training new people, hitting business targets and making sure everything is in order. As a result, I gained transferable skills which undeniably help me in my current role: prioritisation, time management, organisation, attention to detail, communication skills and building long term connections.
Outside of work, I can be found in my kitchen making natural face masks, body butters and bath oils. I enjoy long walks with my cockapoo, big slices of cake and quiet evenings with a book in my hands.
