As a Designer at Foolproof, I stand at the crossroads of problem solving and creativity. My role allows me to use my design and research skills to simplify complex information, understand and solve real people's problems, and deliver thoughtful solutions which enhance their everyday lives.
Before transitioning to UX, I spent four years of my career in advertising as an Art Director. From ideation to execution, I worked on a wide range of accounts such as GIC, Unilever, Quorn, UOB and Jaguar Land Rover. The experience made me more adaptable to business needs without losing our creative integrity.
My interest in the UX world grew after working on a few pure UI projects. I was curious to know how UX can change design decisions, making the user experience more meaningful. That led me to GA, where I completed my User Experience Design course.
Outside of work, I love travelling and picking up new skills. I think it is important to never stop learning and enriching yourself, whether it's from travelling or through books or the Internet – I believe inspiration can come from anywhere! I am currently obsessed with perfecting my latte art with my mini espresso machine sitting at home.
