As a UX consultant, I pride myself in bridging the interaction between business targets and humans needs.
Understanding human behaviour, such as the intentions and motives behind certain actions has always fascinated and intrigued me. As I journey down this road as a UX researcher, I increasingly find myself questioning and appreciating applications, websites and products. It pleases me when the experience is well thought out, even though there are times where I wonder if it can be improved upon. In a nutshell, I am someone with a curious mind and a love for asking why.
Prior to joining Foolproof, I was also in a design agency field, collaborating with companies to analyse existing products pain-points in order to deliver a better user experience. In addition, I helped companies identify opportunity gaps to stay competitive in the market, working alongside them to deliver high-quality products. It is a satisfying victory for me to deliver work that delivers value and impacts upon people's lives.
I know that I will never get to talk to people from all walks of life and this is why I am a fan of documentaries and confession tapes on why someone commits a crime - what could have fuelled that thought? - unsolved murder cases – what a well-orchestrated misdeed!
Outside of work, I love engaging in deep and meaningful conversations with the people around me. We are all humans with emotions and I appreciate the rawness and vulnerability we exchange. I would describe myself as someone who is empathically expressive and LOUD! I laugh heartily and gets surprisingly enthusiastic even without drowning in alcohol; well, with that it’s a bonus! Oh yes, I’m always up for a singing session.
