"I use my understanding of real world problems to generate appropriate design-solutions and improve user journeys."

As a Junior Designer at Foolproof, I use my understanding of real world problems to generate appropriate design-solutions and improve user journeys.

My skill-set sits across a wide range of methodologies, which I use to approach the problems I encounter. They also help me to fathom what is required of the design effort.

I first came across Foolproof through a UX-focussed meet-up a few years ago. I was really impressed from the offset so made it my mission to work for this brilliant agency.

I knew I needed some experience first, so I started a 3-month UX course at Red Academy. After that, I started freelancing, that is until I secured a design internship here at Foolproof.

My background, in Architecture and Lighting, helps me to focus on the user. I find designing for the physical world shares similarities with the digital. The main design principle in Architecture is always user-centred.

You could say this similarity, alongside many other principles and methodologies, has prepared me for my transition into the world of.

As someone who is fascinated by new and emerging technology - I am very excited to be a designer in an industry that is forever-changing and shaped by said developments.

Outside of Foolproof, I enjoy illustrating and have my own clothing brand Try Wild Clothing which is manufactured using renewable energy/takes inspiration from minimalistic design.
